“Ricky” Redding: Lead Vocals – Rhythm Guitar
Born Ronald, Ricky Redding, Las Vegas Nevada, USA. – Ronnie’s earliest days were spent in California’s San Fernando Valley starring in low budget adult feature films under the alias “Ron Octane.”
Years later, Ronnie would find work at Vegas’ “Rogue Python” – Exotic Dancing and Food Emporium. Performing under the stage name “Cherry Bomb”, he longed to prove that he was more than just the sum of his tiger-like dance, and his sub-waistline glory, there was more. He sought out to revolutionize the industry by adding vocal melodies to his performances, glorifying the struggles of the common man, his love affair with his country and most importantly, his insatiable lust for women.
It didn’t take long until his legendary performances spilled over the high water mark, attracting the attention of “Not So Conventional Models and Talent, Inc.” agency out of Southern California. After a massive P.R. campaign, some penicillin and name change that was fit for a star, Ricky Redding had hit the big time. Some say overnight success is a dream, for Ricky it was destiny.
In 2002, Ricky received a phone call from a man with a thick German accent who identified himself as Hans Grundersnatch. Hans asked Ricky to join forces with him, Jesus Guitierez, and Mozart von Cockrockthoven to form Money $hott. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Jesús Guitierez: Drums – Percussion
Jesus began his drumming career at the age of 4 while traveling with his father’s famous Guatemalan circus, “Los Abeulos de Actos Sensuales”. Jesus’ father, Ricardo, etched his name forever in Guatemalan folklore when, on Cinco de Mayo, 1979, he became the first Latin American man to be shot out of a canon. Unfortunately, this first also marked Ricardo’s last as he sustained fatal burns from the canon blast.
As a result, Jesus moved to Los Angeles to live with his grandmother. It was there that he became heavily influenced by the 1980s’ onslaught of rock n’ roll and joined the band, Red Hot Heat. Although the band was short lived, he caught the ear of Firehouse vocalist, C.J. Snare, during one of the band’s final performances. Jesus’ work never appeared on any Firehouse record but he did become a regular studio drummer throughout the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. In 2002, Jesus met Hans Grundersnatch, bassist extraordinaire, at an Aerosolics Anonymous (or “Aeronon”) meeting and developed the idea of forming a band. They immediately began the hunt for just the right front man, lead guitarist, and keytar player, which they found in Ricky Redding, Mozart von Cockrockthoven, and Lionel Redman.
Jesus credits John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, Ginger Baker and Romanian powerhouse Ovidiu Lipan as his most influential influences.

Hans Gründersnatch: Bass
Hans was born in Dusseldorf, Germany. The son of a female shot putter and LPGA champion Greta Grundersnatch, Hans was conceived in a gutter just east of the Hauptbahnhof train station. By the age of 17 months, his mullet and moustache were full grown and by 9, Hans was playing bass in various nightclubs around Germany. He caught a break in 1981 when he joined the Scorpions as a Bass Technician, but was fired in 1982 for poor hygiene. Hans was devastated, and after 20 years of drowning his sorrows in paint thinner cans, he quit inhalants and joined Money $hott.
Hans is well known in music circles for his “double penetration” bass technique and his unique ability to sweat for days without drinking any fluids

Lionel Redman: Keytar – Synth
Lionel was born the bastard child of the acclaimed Spanish infomercial guitarist “Esteban” and a common South African street keyboardist Yasmin Dalmar. Yasmin sought out Esteban while on his South African tour in hopes to seduce him and create a prodigal son, whose musical talent would spring her from life on the streets. Yasmin did not survive the birth of Lionel and all he was left with was a medallion around his neck engraved with a message that he could not decipher. Lionel spent 20 years traveling Eastern Europe serving as a guitarist and pianist in a number of different bands. After playing a mundane street show at a harbor of the black sea in Bulgaria, a fisherman approached Lionel and seemed to know what the inscription on his medallion said. The fisherman did not know the meaning, but he knew that it read “Keytar”. Lionel had discovered his purpose. His journey has now taken him to the United States where he has fused the concepts of the guitar and the keyboard to create a hybrid of the two, which he calls the Keytar. The synthesized sounds and noises that this new instrument exudes immediately landed Lionel in the infamous Ga based band called Money $hott who play Cock Rock to packed out crowds in the great city of Atlanta. Lionel has since discovered that he is the son of the great guitarist Esteban and hopes to reunite with his Spanish father and record a gaucho version of The Final Countdown.
Mozart von Cockrockthoven: 6-string guitar
Mozart von Cockrockthoven (”Zart”) never thought he’d make it this far. Born into a family of Armenian gypsies of Austrian descent, Zart struck out on his own early in life and spent his formative years panhandling for Armenian Dram. At the age of 8, he began frequenting the infamous nightclub scene in the heart of Yerevan. Zart was instantly mesmerized by a particular brand of raucous music that pierced through the din of boisterous noises and other carousing merriment typical of the Armenian nightclubs. He later came to learn that this music was an American subgenre of Rock Music known as Cock Rock. From that point forward, Zart marshaled a Karate Kid-esque dedication to learning the art of Cock Rock.
Zart used the savings from his panhandling days to purchase a used Yaxson guitar (the Soviet knock off of the better known American brand, Jackson). Hallmarks of Cock Rock guitar, such as the fingertap and the dive bomb, became second nature to Zart. He began feeling naked when he was not wearing heavy mascara or lip gloss and found himself sleeping in leather pants. Cock Rock took hold of Zart just as much as he had taken hold of Cock Rock.
One day, as he was walking to the bus stop, a beige 1985 Yugo GV came to a screeching halt next to him. Two large men shoved Zart and his Yaxson inside the car and sped off. Zart’s ostensible kidnappers introduced themselves as Hans Grundersnatch and Jesus Guitierez and offered Zart a spot in Money $hott.
Since that fateful day, Zart has been wowing Atlanta crowds with fiery guitar licks and raunchy tremolo game, not to mention his Rainman-like ability to calculate the value of the US Dollar relative to the Armenian Dram.

Lenny Savagepoon: “The Financier”
Lenny Savagepoon, conceived on the underwater porn set of “Golden Blonde”, has been called “The man behind the talent”. As a young adult, The Financier hit the road with his English setter Marblehead Mass, choosing a career path of hob-nobbing with porn industry capital sources. Finally, he found front man Ricky Redding at a nightly performance at the Rogue Python, and ultimately was the visionary responsible for shooting Ricky straight to the top, piecing debt and equity while working as his talent manager at “Not So Conventional Models and Talent, Inc.” Shortly thereafter, he left the agency to pursue full time management and financial backing of Ricky and Money $hott.
